Richard Hannon took over from his father, the legendary Richard Hannon Snr, in 2014 and has had remarkable success since taking over the license. He has sent out two domestic Classic winners in the shape of 2,000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder and also landed the 2018 1,000 Guineas with Billesdon Brook. Year on year Richard sends out over a hundred winners with recent Group 1 performers being in the shape of Falmouth Stakes winner Snow Lantern and the very game Mojo Star who finished 2nd in the 2021 Derby and the St Leger.

The Hannon team have been responsible for some of Thurloe’s best days with the talent filly Nanoushka one of our early stars and most recently the four time winner Tahitian Prince.

Current horses in training include Tahitian Prince and Richard will also train the New Bay yearling filly.
