SANGARA

We were thrilled to buy this strong, athletic, filly by the very fast BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE at the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sales in September.  BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE was a brilliant two-year-old, winning four races over five furlongs.  They included the Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and the Cornwallis Stakes at Ascot, both Group races.  He is now an exceptionally good sire; his progeny include the prolific winner, Winter Power, who won the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes in 2020 and Rumble Inthejungle, also winner of the Molecomb Stakes, and now standing at stud himself.

SANGARA’S dam, Jeremys Joy, was a smart racehorse and her father, Jeremy, has turned into a good broodmare sire.  This filly will go to Jack Channon whom we are delighted to introduce as a Thurloe trainer.  His father, Mick, trained BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE so Jack, who took over the reins at West Ilsley at the beginning of the year, was a natural choice.  Jack has had an excellent first season at the helm.
