Roll on the 2016 Flat Season for the Thurloe Fillies…

Our flat horses are preparing for the new season and are all reported to be in fine form by their trainers. It has been a mild enough winter which was beneficial for our fillies, Remember Me and Calliope. The two three year old fillies have developed over the winter and are looking lovely and strong. Calliope is bred to be a middle distance horse so we are hoping for more to come from her while Remember Me has some good form off the back of her three runs as a two year old.

Andrew Balding shared a lovely picture with us of Calliope working on a frosty morning at Kingsclere. The plan is to her her ready for action at the end of April, early May.
