INTIMATE ART RETURNS WITH GUTSY WIN
Returning from an enforced layoff Intimate Art put up a brave performance in winning the seven and a half furlong PGMS Handicap at Lingfield on Saturday evening.
He broke smartly from his good draw and bagged the nearside rail; he was in a prominent position throughout, travelling well just behind the leader.
Two furlongs out he was asked for his effort and responded gamely. Intimate Art joined the long-time leader, Godolphin horse, Fast Landing inside the final half furlong. He showed a tenacious attitude getting up in the shadows of the post.
Andrew Balding was thrilled with Intimate Art’s third victory for Thurloe.
