HOPE WINS ON SEASONAL DEBUT
HOPE AGAINST HOPE saw out a thrilling victory on her seasonal reappearance at Leicester on Tuesday evening.
Her jockey, PJ McDonald had the filly in a handy position for most of the race, sitting in second until losing her place and looking in trouble with two furlongs to go. However, when meeting the rising ground, our filly by Dark Angel filly rallied grabbing the lead and going on to win by a very comfortable three lengths.
The win was particularly thrilling as Hope Against Hope suffered an injury to her suspensory ligament only one month ago. A huge credit to the Mark Johnston team who got her back to her best with such an encouraging win!
