HARRY HURRICANE PUTS UP ENCOURAGING PERFORMANCE AT EPSOM
Harry Hurricane ran a very promising race in the five-furlong handicap at Epsom finishing a close up fifth of 13.
He broke very well from the stalls and despite Trevor Whelan’s efforts to get him covered up, he pulled himself to the front and disputed the lead. Passing the two-furlong pole he was in front and travelling by far the best, but his early exertions told and he finished only a length and a half behind the winner.
Trevor said: ‘I tried to rein him back and get some cover but breaking so well made this difficult. A strongly-run five-furlong and plenty of cover will see him in his best light.’
We look forward to aiming Harry Hurricane at some of the decent sprint handicaps this season
