Exciting times for Thurloe!

Exciting time for Thurloe with the birth of a foal and the runners are beginning to get ready for action!

PRETTY FLEMINGO:

Our lovely mare had her first foal over the weekend (April 9th 2016) and we were thrilled that she delivered a colt foal! Mare and foal are doing well and Pretty Flemingo will be taking this lovely colt foal by Canford Cliffs with her to Cheveley Park Stud where she will visit her next stallion, ex-Thurloe champion sprinter, Kyllachy!

 

 

Meanwhile, our horses in training are shaping up with a couple of notable entries. Remember Me was our first runner of the season – she ran a fine race at Kempton the week before last, travelling nicely until blowing up in the last furlong. She may be dropped back to a shorter trip for next time.

Scrutinise has been given an entry by his trainer Ed Dunlop. The son of Intense Focus has strengthened up over the winter break and is ready to go on Wednesday at Epsom.
