SECRET ARCHIVE
Secret Archive was a brave and determined winner at Kempton yesterday afternoon. Coming into the race after only just one run behind him, Secret Archive’s odds went from 16/1 in the morning to 6/1 at the off! The son of Arch jumped out of the stalls confidently and Jim Crowley kept him in a hand position, just about setting the pace, throughout the race. The pace was set at a decent rate and when the challengers came to meet him he really fought them off confidently. The Marco Botti trained newcomer, Quiet Warrior, really battled to try and get in front of Secret Archive but he really showed guts and resilience, winning in the end by a neck. It was an impressive performance by a horse who really has made huge strides after his debut run in September. His win also tops the Thurloe two year old individual winner tally up to four for this season!
