MAKAARIM A COSY WINNER
Makaarim had his second run for us last week and showed us his true colours when returning to the All-Weather at Wolverhampton and running out a cosy winner of his competitive handicap over seven furlongs. He was always travelling well close to the rails behind the leaders and when his jockey, Richard Kingscote, switched him to the outside to get a run, he quickened through the gap and got up in the last twenty yards to win by a cosy neck. Kingscote said that Makaarim was suited by this seven furlong trip.
Trainer, Hughie Morrison, was thrilled with the result and it’s onwards and upwards from now.
