INTIMATE ART MAKES ALL AT CHELMSFORD
Intimate Art returned to Chelmsford on Friday evening for his fourth run this season. He had run so well at the same track back in early June so we were hopeful of another good run. Andrew Balding’s young apprentice Joshua Bryan was on board and was claiming a helpful five pounds.
Joshua got Intimate Art in a handy position from the offset and he was soon bowling a long out front looking very happy with himself. Turning the corner at Chelmsford, Intimate Art was still in a good position, leading by a comfortable two lengths. As the race came to the final stages, the challengers came to take on our son of Dutch Art however, he prevailed, fending off the fancied horses and hanging on gamely by a short-head.
This was a pleasing reappearance from Intimate Art who clearly enjoys this surface and trip. He will take a break now before we reproduce him later in the Summer.
