HORSES IN TRAINING SALE 2018
FIVE THURLOE HORSES HEAD TO NEWMARKET FOR THE ANNUAL HIT SALE
Bossiney Bay (Camelot – Ursula Minor)
3yo filly
Bossiney Bay looked progressive when winning a 1 mile 2 furlong Handicap at Leicester in August. She won really impressively that day, setting the pace and going away from a group of nice fillies by just over three lengths. She should improve for a good winter break to strengthen up, as she still hasn’t fully filled out her frame.
Official rating 75.

Lopito (Lope de Vega – Stellar Brilliant)
3yo gelding
A very consistent sort for trainer Andrew Balding who didn’t have his first run until late in his two year old career. He ran a respectable race that day to finish behind two high class horses in Young Rascal and My Lord and Master.
By the very popular, Lope de Vega, who has produced high class novice hurdler, Mengli Khan, Lopito is a potential dual purpose prospect.
His 2nd at Windsor on 3rd September is working out well and he could be well handicapped.
Official rating 67.

Sky Rocket (Azamour – Roseum)
3yo gelding
Another consistent sort who has been placed on 5 of his 9 runs, including twice at 1 mile 4 furlongs. Narrowly touched off at Ffos Las in September and last run 23rd October when coming 5th at Kempton.
Sure to train on and looks one that could jump a hurdle too.
Official rating 64.

Just Perfect (Mastercraftsman – Downhill Dancer)
3yo gelding
Taken a bit of time to come to hand but he ran a very pleasing race when finishing second on debut at Exeter in the 1 mile 5 furlong juvenile bumper on 23rd October. He was beaten only 3 1/2 lengths that day by a useful sort of Hughie Morrison’s. It looks like Just Perfect is capable of going on to do much better things when upped in distance and gaining more experience.
Interesting juvenile hurdle prospect.

Maakarim (Tamayuz – Dubawi Cheetah)
Had a decent campaign during the winter for us, winning last November over 7 furlongs at Wolverhampton.
Official rating 81.
