LUCROSA is by the highly regarded first season sire, Profitable, who is the best sprinting son of the great Invincible Spirit and was rated above him as a racehorse.  Profitable was exceptionally fast and won the Group 1 King’s Stand at Royal Ascot, Temple Stakes and Palace House Stakes all over five furlongs.  His regular jockey, Adam Kirby, said of Profitablehe had a great will to win”.

She has a really strong pedigree, which goes back to the great 2000 Guineas winner and sire of sires, ZafonicHer two siblings are Grade 3-placed Last Opportunity and good Kempton novice stakes winner Round Six who went on to win his second race twenty-four hours after the hammer went down on our filly.  Her close relation, Uncle Bryn, was mighty impressive as a two-year-old, winning two from two for for John Gosden and is being touted for a crack at the Derby in June.
