GUIDING LIGHT and FIELD OF FAME
GUIDING LIGHT was a cosy winner of the seven furlong handicap at Chepstow on Monday afternoon. Ridden just off the pace by his jockey, David Probert, Guiding Light came to challenge the winner two furlongs out and ran on to take the lead in the final strides. This was a pleasing win from the Andrew Balding trained gelding whom returned to the course where he won as a two year old. We are hopeful there are more good handicaps to be won with him over the season.

FIELD OF FAME will return to the racecourse this Saturday (27th June) at Windsor where he will run over nearly a mile and a half, his first attempt at this extended trip. We believe this distance will benefit Field of Fame. We were delighted that his form was boosted at Royal Ascot last week when Mashoob won the Wolferton Handicap on the Friday. It was also thrilling to see Trip to Paris, by Field of Fame’s sire, Champs Elysees, win the Ascot Gold Cup.
